Summer Spirit: An Ayurvedic Approach to Summer Wellness
Friday 12th July 2024
10:00am-12:00pm
Wanstead Works, 34-40 High Street, London E11 2RJ
Summer might feel like a lifetime away when Spring has been a non-starter. With everyone looking forward to losing some layers and kicking back in the sunshine, we can forget about some of those sneaky ailments and health issues that crop up at this time of year.
Ayurveda takes a holistic approach, preparing us for seasonal wellbeing so that we can avoid flare-ups. Join Kirit, a Nurse and an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner to learn about ways that we can support our health this Summer and steer clear of some of the pitfalls. Informed by what she sees as common symptoms cropping up in her nursing world (think rashes, hives, styes, cold sores, loose stool), Kirit combines this with the Ayurvedic lens that offers longer-lasting results than a quick, short-term fix.
Interested to learn more? Join us for an interactive workshop that will bring you the most practical elements you can start to apply straight away. We'll be covering:
Learn what your mind-body type is and if it is in balance
How the seasons affect your dosha
